448th SCMW named best in DOD

The 448th Supply Chain Management Wing has been recognized as being the best Workforce Development Office in all of Department of Defense. 

They are supported in this endeavor by The 431st Supply Chain Management Squadron, a matrixed organization of 54 people co-located at Robins Air Force Base; Hill Air Force Base, Utah; and Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. 

Fifteen members of  the Squadron are located at Robins.  They are:

Rita Hampton,

Jimmy Marshall,

Sylvia Moore,

Elizabeth Reis,

Mike Smith,

Ken Thurmond, and

Bill Sirmon.

The unit recruits, hires and trains the supply chain management professionals that keep the Air Force supplied with spare parts and capabilities worldwide. They directly provided hiring and mentoring for 424 trainees for the 448th SCMW.  In the past year, the classroom training they provided supported 3,000 people.
