11/14/2012 - ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga.  -- After months of renovations, additions of new eateries and face-lifts to existing stores, the Exchange grand opening is set for Thursday.

From floors to décor, the facility has undergone a substantial transformation since work began in May. Construction personnel have been on site daily, working around-the-clock to rebrand the facility in an image that is being rolled out to Air Force and Army installations worldwide.

The re-design occurred in 12 phases and split the store into 'lifestyle centers.' It has also transitioned from traditional aisles to a 'V' shaped walkway, where shoppers can browse through fitness, home and active lifestyle and fashion centers.

The renovation also included the addition of Dunkin' Donuts, Popeye's, and Subway restaurants in the main dining area. Taco John's, Charley's Grilled Subs and Anthony's Pizza remained in their current spots but received a new facelift as part of the new branding campaign.
