5TH MOB: ‘ACE’ing the year ahead, preparing the warfighter

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – The 5th Combat Communications Group headquarters is at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, and is a specialized unit comprised of four active duty squadrons: the 5th Combat Communications Support Squadron, 51st and 52nd Combat Communications mission squadrons and the 85th Engineering Installation Squadron. The 5th CCG has been at Robins since July 1, 1964 and provides critical communication assets around the world, such as internet support and air traffic control.
