Portions of Watson Blvd and Peacekeeper Way (east of Byron Street) will be closed to through traffic for an extended period starting Monday.

The closure will allow the removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement with asphalt pavement, according to a release from the 778th Civil Engineer Squadron.

The closure duration will be approximately 75 days. Work is scheduled to be complete by April 5. The west end of the Watson Boulevard closure will be south of Bldg. 324 and the east end is west of the Watson Boulevard and Milledgeville Street intersection.

A short section of Peacekeeper Way north of Bldg. 364 will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be provided.

The completion date is dependent on weather. Work is being accomplished under the Civil Engineering Paving Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract.
