For those wanting easy access to a list of upcoming events at Robins, there is now a smart phone app available that provides just that.

It's called My Military Communities, or MyMC2, and is the first mobile application in the Air Force that will put a list of every event at your base in the palm of your hand. The app is a free download and is now available through both the Android Market and Apple's App Store.

Developed by the 375th Communication Support Squadron web application development team at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., the app pulls event listings from organizational Facebook pages that are officially associated with a base and consolidates them into one place.

The app opens up to a main page which lists the next five events available at Robins.

Users then have the option to narrow or expand their search by organizational or event type categories. Numerous other bases are also using the app, making it convenient for those on travel.

To download the app you may open your smart phones app store and search "My Military Communities" Or "MyMC2."
