Camellia Gardens Memorial Service planned Published April 11, 2013 By Staff Reports Robins Air Force Base Public Affairs ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The annual Camellia Gardens Memorial Service - which pays tribute to deceased members of Team Robins - will take place May 23 at 10 a.m. in the tranquil garden across from the Horizons Event Center. The service, a moving, patriotic tribute to the departed, is a 37-year tradition. The garden memorializes the dead by celebrating their lives. At the garden's entrance, a brick and mortar wall displays gold plaques with the names of more than 1,600 deceased military and civilian members from Robins who were honored in past ceremonies.
