Col. Lindsay Droz, Installation and 78th Air Base Wing commander, recently directed Health Protection Condition Alpha due to the decreased community transmission of COVID-19 across the installation and local communities.  Houston County and Robins AFB are currently in Medium Community Transmission Level per the CDC.

In accordance with OSD direction and CDC guidance, Team Robins personnel are no longer required to wear a mask indoors.

Non-vaccinated employees will continue to social distance in all circumstances while on the installation and will continue to be tested weekly per guidance.

This change will not apply to Robins AFB medical or dental facilities.  Healthcare professionals, patients, visitors and all others entering base healthcare facilities will continue to wear masks while in these facilities to reduce transmission of COVID-19.

All Robins AFB personnel will continue to exercise diligence in personal hygiene and public health risk mitigation measures. These measures include:

  • Strict hygiene.
  • Regular cleaning of workplace common areas.
  • Gatherings are limited to 50 persons unless approved
  • Wear masks in accordance with current guidance.
  • Physical distancing – maintaining at least a six-foot distance between individuals.
  • Stay at home when experiencing symptoms or illness, notify your supervision, and contact your primary care manager.
