On Feb. 10, 1988, Air Force Systems Command commander Gen. Bernard P. Randolph, a former WR-ALC vice commander, returned to Robins to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Georgia’s Black Eagles exhibit at the Museum of Aviation. Randolph was the second African-American to achieve the four-star rank in Air Force history and the first master navigator to attain four-star rank and command a major command.
