This Veterans Day, let’s remember the many heroes who have served and are serving our great Nation. America was built upon their service and sacrifices. The United States is home to 17.4 million veterans, including 774,000 who call Georgia home. Our U.S. Air Force uniform reminds us of those veterans who have served in the past, and those who are currently serving around the globe.  The men and women of our Armed Forces have fought for, and some gave their last full measure of devotion to secure the freedoms we enjoy today. For their sacrifice and service, and to the families whose support made their loved ones' service possible, our Nation owes a debt of gratitude.

On this Veterans Day, we humbly salute all Veterans, including those right here in Middle Georgia and those who have served at Robins Air Force Base over the decades.

Take time to thank those Veterans in your own families, communities and workplaces, for all they have given to keep our Nation strong and free.
