Throwback Thursday - Feb. 17, 2022

On Feb. 10, 1986, the first new KC-135R tanker arrived at Robins and was named after the City of Warner Robins. The arrival marked the beginning of a program to replace the 19th Air Refueling Wing’s KC-135A models. The 19th Bomb Wing and the 19th ARW, both known as the “Black Knights” operated out of Robins for nearly 50 years.
